“I chose a red wedding dress because I’ve always been a bit quirky & an attention
seeker! Also I’d lived with my fiance for about 5 years before we got hitched so
wearing white & trying to act ‘pure’ would’ve looked a bit strange.
My bridesmaids were in ivory which I think was a bit weird for them, but they were
fine with it. However, they got some strange looks from onlookers when they arrived
at the church - 2 brides?! The rest of the theme was red & white roses as I’m from
Lancashire (red rose county) & my hubby is from Yorkshire (white rose county). “
