An eco-friendly wedding perhaps?

By Karen Vander

Who would’ve thought that there was such thing as eco-friendly wedding? If it was years ago, there might be none. But today, when people start to worry about natural resources being used to manufacture common necessities, they would rather consider patronizing products which are eco-friendly. But weddings? Yes, it is very much possible. Let’s talk about the wedding dress.

Morgan Boszilkov presents the Natural Bridal Collection, an eco-friendly alternative to a designer wedding gown made with traditional material.

Morgan Boszilkov, a young designer, presents the Natural Bridal Collection. This is an eco-friendly alternative to a designer wedding gown made with traditional material. Morgan has always dreamed of being a fashion designer. She moved to Japan after getting a business degree in Boston. She grew up being told that she needed a “real” profession and should have an artistic hobby. It resulted to her getting a business degree with a concentration in accounting. That didn’t last long. It was there in Japan that she walked into a small bridal boutique owned by a young designer much like herself. I was strolling around the shopping district and met this inspiring young wedding gown designer and knew that it was my calling, my dream to do the same.

Morgan is committed to social and environmental responsibility and contributes 5% of her profits to organizations that support the environment. Her designs are inspired by her travels in Europe and Asia and by everything in nature. She has boundless creative energy and enthusiasm for bringing an eco-friendly option to the modern bride. Based in Georgia, Morgan works with a team of local artistic women to bring her sustainable wedding gown designs to life.

The Morgan Boszilkov Collection includes exceptionally designed gowns that are eco-friendly without sacrificing style or beauty. Each gown is named after a woman who has been an inspiration in Morgan’s life. She has designed gowns of varying differences from one and the other. She even made a “convertible” gown, having meant for the lower skirt to be able to detach from the upper parts of the dress therefore may be used as an after-ceremony dress, or even a sundress for small gatherings. After the vows when you are ready to rock the reception, just drop the long bottom.

The gowns by Morgan Boszilkov are crafted and designed using sustainable fabrics and eco-friendly business practices. While doing these, lavish and style are not forgotten and produces elegant and daringly different outputs. The Natural Bridal Collection team is open to working with the eco-bride-to-be to create bridesmaid dresses that harmonize with the wedding gown.

Her gowns give the modern bride the opportunity to make a statement while looking elegant and beautiful on her very special day. She hopes to see weddings become greener and less wasteful. The events surrounding a marriage are a great opportunity to share environmentally and socially conscious ideas and values with family and friends.
