A Beautiful Bride At Yosemite National Park

An All-American Bride Shines at Yosemite Park-in Red!

Culture and history play a big role in almost every event in one’s life, especially during weddings. They are a symbol of one’s past and future, and thus they must be present when two hearts promise to spend the rest of their lives together as one. But isn’t it better to give your heritage a special place during your wedding?

Just like the bonding of two hearts in love, Rosie and Gary.

The two lovebirds decided to hold their wedding at the one place that truly reflects their 100% true American heritage-where else, but Yosemite National Park! It is quite common nowadays for weddings to be held at gardens and other outdoor venues, but to hold it in a national park is something different. Rosie and Gary not only promised to love each other forever, but as well allowed their cultures shower them with blessings on their special day.

But what made their wedding more special is that they infused the Native American setting with something bold-a hot red motif! Rosie wore a gorgeous all-American red wedding gown adorned with Native American designs. This fusion of color and culture took quite sometime to prepare basically because such design is hard to do. The accessories Rosie wore also had to be researched-just like her dress, the adornments are hard to find.

The veil Rosie wore on her wedding was also specially-handmade to match her dress. No matching veils were readily available to suit her wedding gown, and so she had to make one for her self, which is of course, done with all her love.

“It is so hard to find an American style red wedding gown and accessorizing is even more difficult!” said Rosie.

To complete the motif of their matrimonial ceremony, Rosie had her groom set his hair into braids, thus Gary met her at the aisle propped up as an All-American strong man, ready to fulfill his promise of spending a new life with her.

The wedding took place on June 25, 2008, and the reception consisted of a small picnic which became a gathering of close friends and family. Rosie and Gary made the favors and invitations themselves, which added a personalized touch to the whole event. Even their daughter Kayla helped in the wedding preparations, which hence strengthened their bond as a family.

Rosie truly sparkled as a red hot bride at Yosemite Park that day. Kayla meanwhile also dreams of becoming a red hot bride one day, just like her mom.
