Blast to the past of a red wedding dress

Go Back In Time

During the Renaissance era, white dresses are not the norm, so colors like deep purple, chocolate brown, black, coffee gold, deep green, Prussian blue and other rich colors can definitely make up your wedding theme. To soothe the summer heat, you can always pick lighter shades of the colors mentioned. For example, use chocolate brown, lemon chiffon and old rose as primary colors to your theme to soften up the metallic gold ribbons sewn around your red wedding gown.

Is it a taboo to wear a red wedding dress? If not, why are so few wearing them. Is it against a religion? Is there a negative stigma attached to it. Red is associated to love and romance isn't it?
